Starting July 6, getting there is easier than ever with GO Transit’s year-round train service to Stratford seven days a week. With the Kitchener Line now extended to Stratford, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a comfortable journey to this beloved destination. The extended service to Stratford includes:

• Weekday rush‑hour trips between Stratford and Union Station
• Weekend service connecting Toronto, Brampton, Kitchener, and Stratford, with 1 eastbound and 1 westbound trip

How to pay your fare:

• PRESTO will not be available for Stratford customers at the start of service. We are exploring ways to bring PRESTO to Stratford and will share information as soon as we’re able.
• At this time, customers will not be able to purchase paper tickets to/from Stratford at our Ticket Vending Machines.
• E-tickets to Stratford GO can be purchased seven days in advance. Please do not purchase an e-ticket before June 30. You can purchase e-tickets online here.
• Children 12 and under always ride for FREE on GO.
• The $10 one day weekend pass will let you travel wherever you want on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Weekend passes are available here.
• Weekday group passes are also available here.
• Veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members can ride for free on GO Transit when travelling with their Veteran’s Service Card or a Canadian Military Service ID.  More information here.
• Your GO fare is based on your fare type and the distance you’re travelling between two specified points. Find your fare here.
